Nexus 6p geekbench 1080p#
The iPhone SE has a sub-1080p display resolution, which makes a massive difference in comparison with the 1080p and Quad HD phones in the performance chart, and shows top-notch gaming performance (if you are into the 4" display gaming). It is as powerful as the Mali-T880MP12 GPU inside the Galaxy S7, but is bested by the Adreno 530 (S820) within the Xiaomi Mi 5. The 1080p off-screen benchmarks speak for themselves. The iPhone SE utilizes the six-core PowerVR GT7600 GPU, which is quite the beast. In this test the iPhone SE is once again on par with the iPhone 6s, Galaxy S7, and the latest Xiaomi Mi 5 (Snapdragon 820 chip). The compound BaseMark OS II 2.0 test gauges CPU, GPU, Memory, Web and System performance. The compound AnTuTu 6 benchmark puts the iPhone SE on par with the iPhone 6s, and very close to the Xiaomi Mi 5 and Galaxy S7 top dogs. It trails behind the 8-core Exynos models from 2015 (Galaxy S6) and 2016 (Galaxy S7), but not by a large margin, which is impressive given those are just two cores. It beats the Snapdragon 810 chips, and does a lot better than the A8 SoC in the iPhone 6. The multi-core score of GeekBench 3 shows how powerful the dual-core Twister processor is. And we believe the A9, coupled with the lower (than iPhone 6) resolution screen would be a monster.Īpple has always been focused on the single-core performance since it is the most important one when it comes to interacting with the iOS user interface and the single-core GeekBench test proves the 64-bit Twister core is still the best and fastest CPU core currently on the market. Unfortunately, Google hasn’t reversed its stance on microSD storage, so you won’t be able to icrease your phone’s storage unless you opt for cloud services.The iPhone SE may come with dated looks, but its hardware is up to date. They also use that magical and newfangled reversible USB Type-C connector, meaning both phones hail from the future.
Nexus 6p geekbench Bluetooth#
Put simply, you won’t find better value for money in terms of cost for performance no matter which phone you decide to buy.Īs you can expect, both phones also come with 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and NFC. The 5X’s Snapdragon 808 also places it ahead of many phones within the same ballpark, giving it similar specs to that of the LG G4, but for a fraction of the price. While there have been multiple reports of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 overheating in other handsets, during our time with the 6P we never found it to become uncomfortably warm, and that’s even when pushing it with demanding Android games like Riptide. Obviously the more expensive 6P has the better display, boasting a Quad HD 2,560 x 1,440 pixel AMOLED panel to the 5X’s HD 1920 x 1080 IPS display. You’ll be pleased to hear that, no matter which phone you opt for, both the 5X and 6P have fantastic screens. Measuring 77.8 x 7.3 x 159.3 (WDH) to the 5X’s 72.6 x 7.9 x 147mm, both phones will slip easily in and out of your pocket, and the well-placed rear-mounted fingerprint reader means unlocking your phone as you take it out of your pocket becomes second nature. Thankfully, in terms of size, the 6P’s larger frame isn’t anywhere near as imposing as that of the original Nexus 6.
It’s clear that LG has had to make some compromises with its design, but somehow it does lack the minimalist charm the original Nexus 5 had. While its body is a little thicker at 7.9mm, it also has a body made entirely of plastic and lacks any real design choices beyond a slab of smartphone with subtle curves.
In comparison, the 5X is somewhat disappointing.
